My question is this, after I must have done from numbers 1 to 3, coming to number 4, how do I start blogging? What is required of me to be a blogger??

    • Okon Joseph says:

Blogging is a never ending topic that you have to learn at once.

You start by buying a domain, hosting it and just start posting useful content to your desired audience.

Note: You must first have an audience in mind that you want your post to affect. It can be on any topic that you’re passionate about.

Forget about SEO or ranking at first. Focus on building your audience and SEO will take care of itself.

Some plugins can even help. Just build a blog around your business and direct traffic to your blog via social media or any strategy you desire.

I hope that answers your question!

Thank you so much sir. I am have done something like this already, but it’s about to go public. its specifically a blog for information, education and entertainment for my school. its called Esut connect. you can check it out at http://www.esutconnect.com . i started it with two of my friends but the challenge now is how do we go create awareness about the site? since its a student kind of thing and with our limited resources.

    • Okon Joseph says:

Congratulation Joshua for your first move. I really like that. It shows you’re among the minority who don’t just dream or wish but take action no matter the storm.

For your blog awareness, the cheapest way you can promote the site that will not put hole in your pocket is through social media and flyers or hand bills.

Go to facebook, create a Facebook page. Don’t promote if you don’t have the cash. Invite your friends that are student to like the page.

Promote it on your timeline, what’sapp and what ever social platform you belong to.

Offline strategy, print a black and white copy using an A4 paper. Type what you know you should type on the paper by stating what the student will benefit from the site and many more. Then, make photocopies, you either share it or glue it in a public junction in school. Preferably, close to a notice board.

Hope I have done justice to that? If you still have issues, please don’t fail to ask.

      Thanks
